Dr. Quinetta Roberson Connally and her doctoral student, Joie Magalona, will be joining us for Neurodiversity Celebration Week to share their work on "Reconceptualizing Leadership From a Neurodiverse Perspective". Dr. Roberson Connally posits that management scholars have yet to develop theories and models that are inclusive of neurodiversity. Using the critical disability theory as a lens for reframing assumptions about leadership behavior as described in existing theory and research, she postulates that neurodiversity may serve as a cognitive strength from which leadership derives. Please attend this discussion to hear more about neurodivergent leadership behaviors and their influence on leader and follower outcomes, as well as how neurodiversity and leadership research can be better integrated.
