The Cornell University Postdoctoral Association will host a workshop with Dr. Gwendolyn D. Pough, Associate Dean of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility at Syracuse University--“DEIA Tax?: The Hidden Cost of ‘Diversity’ in Academia and Who Pays It”--on Thursday, June 6 (11:30am-12:30pm) to discuss the “hidden curriculum” of academia and how it affects the experience of postdocs and trainees of diverse backgrounds. Anyone interested in DEIA issues in higher education is welcome to attend.
