We rely on a common set of objectives that reflect our values as an institution and create a consistent experience for our community. The criteria represent a large and diverse array of perspectives to ensure that we are widely accountable.
Our Criteria:
Climate Metrics
- Those metrics that measure current attitudes, behaviors and standards of faculty, staff and students (undergrad, grad & professional) regarding the access for, inclusion of and level of respect for individual and group needs, abilities and potential. 
	
- Sense of belonging 
		
- General sense of feeling welcomed, respected and valued
 
 - Fair treatment 
		
- The extent to which constituents perceive university procedures, interactions and outcomes to be fair in nature
 
 - Net Promoter Score (Recommendation score) 
		
- A measure of satisfaction and loyalty, designed to gauge willingness to recommend university/department/job to others
 
 
 - Sense of belonging 
		
 
Compositional Metrics – Only for Faculty/Staff
- Current composition with tracking for: 
	
- Turnover rates 
		
- Percentage of staff/faculty leaving the university within a certain period of time
 
 - Diverse candidate pools 
		
- Percentage of staff/faculty joining the university within a certain period of time
 
 
 - Turnover rates 
		
 
Metrics will be broken down and analyzed by demographics (i.e. race/ethnicity, gender, disability status and other identities depending on population size and available data).
