- Brian C. Nevin Welcome Center
How do our social beliefs of “normal” influence the way we view and study plants? Join this tour of the Botanic Gardens with student Garden Ambassadors Annika ’23 and Jakara ’23 as they explore the intersection of queer theory and the natural environment, including botany, mycology, and culinary histories. Discover benefits of biodiversity in both the ecosystem and human cultures through plants that challenge binary, anthroropocentric, and heteronormative systems and biological paradigms. Pre-registration required as space is limited.
Fee: Free; donations welcome.
Location: Meet at the Nevin Welcome Center
