Neurodiversity Dialogues: BIPOC Neurodivergent Student Experiences & Needs

Sierra Hicks (They/Them) is an AuDHDer and PhD Student in the Department of Natural Resources and the Environment at Cornell. Sierra has been a Neurodiversity Ambassador for the past couple of years and is passionate about celebrating, analyzing, serving overlapping identities and experiences.
Aishat Sadiq (She/They) Ph.D. student in Psychology and Human Development at Cornell University, with a strong undergraduate foundation in Neuroscience and African/African American Studies.
Guest speaker: Dr. Jacque T. Washington (She/Her), CAPS counselor/therapist. Her dissertation is titled: "examining the historical and present-age impact of racism in the United States of America through the arts, aesthetic education, and transformative learning theory: Empowering social work students to effectively discuss racism and provide best practices with African Americans and other people of color."
