Come meet one of your own! Jazmin Aguilar-Romero is a Cornell alumna who graduated in 2018, majoring in chemistry and minoring in Latina/o Studies. After leaving Ithaca, she earned a PhD in chemistry at the University of Illinois and is now a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Minnesota!

Dr. Aguilar-Romero knows what it takes to be successful at Cornell, in graduate school, and academia as a Latine scholar. Speaking from experience, she credits her Cornell community with helping her persist through her doctoral studies and earning that PhD.
