Join Cornell alumna, Vanessa Vélez, M.D. '13, for informal conversation on her career path after Cornell!

Dr. Vanessa Vélez earned her Bachelor's in Science at Cornell University in 2013 where she studied Human Biology, Health and Society with a Global Health Minor. After college, she served as a mentor/tutor in AmeriCorps City Year Los Angeles. She then earned her medical degree at Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine in Scranton, PA. Vanessa is currently a Psychiatry Resident at Hackensack Meridian Ocean Medical Center in Brick, NJ. She has interests in Integrative Psychiatry, Wellness, Therapeutic Communities and Hospice/Palliative Care.
