Sara Xayarath Hernández, Associate Dean for Inclusion and Student Engagement

The Graduate School's Office of Inclusion and Student Engagement offers graduate and postdoctoral scholars the opportunity to build skills that are crucial to their success: career development, communication, leadership and management, teaching and mentoring, responsible conduct of research, and personal development. 

Yael Levitte, Associate Vice Provost for Faculty Development and Diversity

The Office of Faculty Development and Diversity, part of academic affairs, works with deans and department chairs to increase faculty diversity, providing guidance in setting realistic diversity goals, training search committees, broadening faculty applicant pools, increasing retention of underrepresented groups, and providing faculty development and advancement opportunities.

Vijay Pendakur, Dean of Students

Resource centers, advising units, and affinity groups comprising the Dean of Students' office in the Division of Student & Campus Life, focus on identity development, student support, and advocacy, and creating opportunities for students to explore the intersections of their identity development. 

Angela C. Winfield, Director of Inclusion and Workforce Diversity

The Department of Inclusion and Workforce Diversity, in the Division of Human Resources, supports data collection and workforce analysis, designs, and delivery of innovative strategies to create inclusivity in the University’s systems, structures, and culture. The office ensures compliance with federal, state, and local workplace laws, including the development of the equal employment opportunity and affirmative action programs.
